My hamster, MJ, has had vaginal bleeding for about a week. I thought female hams got their periods on rare occasions, but I thought they only lasted a couple days, if that. Her behavior hasn't changed and she doesn't seem to be in pain, but I wonder. Do I need to take her to a vet?

i'm a little worried about Gaz, my black mottled female dwarf hamster. I know that female hamsters can sometimes go through a menstruation period and i've noticed her having one a couple of times since i've had her. but this one seems different. the blood is a lot more noticable than the other instances. i could get about the amount of say, 2 ( Read more... )

I found tonight that my hammy pequeño panda has some in spanish it would be "costras" on her back... it looks like dry blood.

I know that maybe she scrached herself and made that... but it it´s something else O.o

does this happened to anyone?
